ARRDC3, a member of the arrestin family [54], was positively correlated with vRNA abundance, yet its depletion increased VEEV-TC-83 infection via most assays as well as VEEV-TrD infection (Figs 5A, S5A and S5D), and its overexpression decreased infection (Fig 5B), in contrast with the other four positively correlated genes tested. This evidence concerns the gene SAG and infection.
