The selection criteria of HIV/HCV-coinfected patients were: 1) chronic HCV and HIV infection; 2) starting IFN-based therapy (peg-IFN-α/ribavirin or peg-IFN-α/ribavirin/DAAs) and achieving SVR; 3) CD4+ T cell ≥200 cells/μL; 4) stable ART ≥6 months; 4) frozen PBMCs samples available. This evidence concerns the gene IFNA1 and HIV infectious disease.
