Consistent with these results, several studies have reported miR-135b was upregulated in ER- or triple negative breast cancers and its overexpression promotes breast cancer progression and metastasis through regulation of ERα, AR, and other genes such as LATS2, TGFβ, WNT, and HIF1AN [37–41]. The gene discussed is LATS2; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
