UCA1 has been demonstrated to be highly expressed in several human tumors, such as gastric cancer (GC) and cholangiocarcinoma, which is closely associated with tumor-node-metastasis (TNM) stage, depth of invasion, vascular invasion, lymph node metastasis, overall survival (OS) and relapse-free survival (RFS) (8–10). This evidence concerns the gene UCA1 and cholangiocarcinoma.
