According to canonical cell biomarkers such as CD14 (Mathews et al., 2019), CX3CR1 (Murai et al., 2020), MBP (García-León et al., 2020), PLP1 (Guo et al., 2020), PROM1 (Bao et al., 2006), CD24 (Tiburcio et al., 2020), three tumor cell types were identified by unsupervised clustering and expression of lineage-specific markers following batch correction in 14 clusters, including microglia, oligodendrocytes, and glioma stem cells (Figure 1). The gene discussed is PROM1; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
