Approximately, 10–15% of epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) patients carry germline mutation in BRCA1 or BRCA2. (Zhang et al., 2011; Alsop et al., 2012), and it was particularly high in high grade serous subtype, which was reported at about 20–30% (Network, 2011). The gene discussed is BRCA2; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
