In MM, as emerging evidences have shown that, in contrast to normal cells, cancer cells were more sensitive to enhancer-selective inhibitors, such as inhibitors targeting BET-bromodomain protein 4 (BRD4) and cyclin-dependent kinase 7 (CDK7)31–33, these data further support to the concept of incorporating enhancer-targeting inhibitors in the treatment of MM. The gene discussed is BRD4; the disease is Miyoshi myopathy.
