Increasing evidences suggested that decreased expression of ARID1A in HCC patients was associated with poor prognosis and could promoted metastasis of HCC [9, 10], and ARID1A could also regulate response to anti-angiogenic therapy in advanced HCC [11], implying that ARID1A may represent a promising candidate therapeutic target for HCC. The gene discussed is ARID1A; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
