Tivari et al. demonstrated that bone marrow stroma secretory senescence, which was induced by oxidation, hypoxia and estrogen deprivation with hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), carbonyl-cyanide m-chlorophenylhydrazzone (CCCP) and Fulvestrant, could awake the dormant estrogen receptor positive (ER +) breast cancer cells by secreting some inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, IL-8, TNF α and TGFβ1 [74].
