In order to test which genes changes more in lung cancer, we analyzed HSPA5 mRNA and ACE2 mRNA in TCGA dataset from 994 samples and found that HSPA5 mRNA levels was 253-fold than that of ACE2 (Fig. 3B), indicating that HSPA5 might play important roles for SARS-Cov-2 entry in cancer patients through lungs. The gene discussed is ACE2; the disease is lung carcinoma.
