CYP2C9 and colonic neoplasm: Recently, Wang and colleagues13 found that the expression of CYP2C9 and CYP2C19 (both mRNA and protein) was elevated in human colon cancer HCT116 and Caco-2 cells in comparison to the normal cell line CCD-18Co; they also demonstrated that targeted inhibitors could aid in mitigating tumorogenesis in mice.
