Anti-FAP antibodies (sibrotuzumab), TGF-β1 (highly expressed in hypoxic tumors), cytokine therapies (IL2), CXCL12/CXCR4 signaling, angiotensin receptor blockers (ARBs), immune checkpoint blockade (ICB), T lymphocyte checkpoint inhibition, CTLA-4 directed therapy, CAR-T cells against FAP+ cells are some of the immunotherapies currently in research to target non-responsive metastatic tumors (139, 140). This evidence concerns the gene FAP and metastatic neoplasm.
