Her hematological data on admission were within the normal range, and the levels of tumor markers were as follows: carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), 1.42 ng/ml; carbohydrate antigen 19–9 (CA19-9) 8.97 U/ml; alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) 2.15 ng/ml; and carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) 12.46 U/ml, all of which were within the normal limits.
