Comparison of endogenous ANXA4 levels between normal epithelial cells (NCM460) derived from the human colonic mucosa and three CRC cell lines (SW480, SW620, and HT-29) revealed that ANXA4 expression was significantly higher in HT-29 cells, which are derived from a highly metastatic CRC cell line, than in SW480 and SW620 cells [9] (Figure 1D) and that ANXA4 was mainly distributed in the cytoplasm of HT-29 cells (Figure 1E). Here, ANXA4 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
