Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) in combination with a highly tumor-selective immunocytokine—a form of interleukin 2 (IL2), namely, L19-IL2: a substance consisting of the single-chain (scFv) tumor-specific human antibody L19 targeting extra-domain B (ED-B) explicitly (anti-ED-B scFv L19) coupled to IL2 demonstrated some promising results in a phase I trial in the absence of any severe (grade ≥ 3) toxicity (NCT02086721). The gene discussed is IL2; the disease is neoplasm.
