INS and Hypoglycemia: The BMI ≥ 35 kg/m2 group had a higher total daily insulin dose (59.9 ± 49.3 vs 37.2 ± 26.0, p = 0.004) (Table 1) and a higher rate of lipohypertrophy (5.3% vs 2.0%, p = 0.019), but suffered from less documented hypoglycaemia (21% vs 30%, p = 0.007) (Table 2).
