In addition, we undertook a comprehensive unbiased ChIP-Seq approach and identified α-methylacyl-CoA racemase (AMACR), a mitochondrial and peroxisomal enzyme for beta-oxidation of branched chain fatty acids (26), as a direct downstream target for the LIN28B/CDX2 axis to govern CRC differentiation. The gene discussed is LIN28B; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
