Recently, DLBCL patients harboring genetic rearrangement of MYC, with concurrent translocation of BCL2 and/or BCL6, which are found to have significant shorter survival than patients without genetic alterations of MYC, have been recognized as a novel category of high-grade B cell lymphoma (HGBCL) by the revised 4th edition of World Health Organization classification 7.
