The most frequently altered genes in the primary tumours and/or metastatic samples were Lrp1b, Nfia, Foxp1, Nfib, Lrch3 and Sox6. Some of these unique insertions (e.g. Foxp1) were found in both metastatic and non‐metastatic samples at high frequency, suggesting that they are unlikely to be specifically required for metastasis. This evidence concerns the gene NFIB and neoplasm.
