Anlotinib can inhibit the phosphorylation of Akt and mTOR in several types of cancer like hepatocellular carcinoma, colon cancer and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (He et al., 2018; Song et al., 2020; Sun et al., 2020; Yang Q. et al., 2020), supporting the phosphoproteomics analysis in this work (Figure 4F). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and malignant colon neoplasm.
