SNS-032, a selective and potent inhibitor of CDK 2, 7, and 9 and AZD4573, a highly selective inhibitor of CDK9, exhibited the inhibitory effects of hematological malignant cell lines in vitro and clinical therapeutic activity in patients with MM and CLL (Tong et al., 2010; Walsby et al., 2011). This evidence concerns the gene CDK9 and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
