EGFR and colorectal carcinoma: Based on descriptive analyses we assessed the general characteristics, treatment patterns, and overall survival of patients using one or more of the three biologics available for CRC treatment during the study period, namely the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-inhibitor bevacizumab, slowing the growth of new blood vessels, and the two epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-inhibitors cetuximab and panitumumab, inhibiting cell growth and division.
