Our findings fit perfectly well with the fact that normal RUNX1 is a driver in RUNX1-related leukemogenesis including t(12;21) ETV6-RUNX1 BCP-ALL, t(8;21) AML1-ETO and inv [16] CBFβ-SMMHC acute myeloid leukemia [6, 49]. This evidence concerns the gene RUNX1T1 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
