One of these [29] recently provided evidence by immunoblotting that PARP1/ARTD1-dependent ADPR levels correlate with clinical outcome in high grade serous ovarian cancer patients, whereas the other studies mainly relayed on mass spectrometry-based approaches and their results about the role of ADPR in cancer are partially contradicting [23, 28]. Here, PARP1 is linked to ovarian serous adenocarcinoma.
