Using Youden index to determine the optimal cutoff values defining high and low expression groups, we found that patients with high expression level of tumor TMCC3 mRNA were at greater risk than those with low expression level for lymph nodes involvement (p = 0.04, OR: 1.89, 95% CI: 1.06–3.42), relapse (p < 0.001, OR: 4.45, 95% CI: 2.27–8.69), and death (p < 0.001, OR: 3.77, 95% CI: 1.96–7.23) (Supplementary Table S3). The gene discussed is TMCC3; the disease is neoplasm.
