Largely consistent with our findings, the overexpression of miR-30b has been demonstrated to result in a decreased level of mesenchymal marker N-cadherin and increased level of the epithelial marker E-cadherin, impairing the invasive and migration capacities as well as the tumorigenic potential of pancreatic cancer stem cells.22 This evidence concerns the gene CDH2 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
