SV2A and adenocarcinoma: Studies in mouse or rat models have used higher concentrations of levetiracetam up to 600 mg/Kg day without showing any additional side effect (34, 35), therefore suggesting the possibility of testing high-doses of levetiracetam in vivo in prostate cancer models, with the aim to target both MCs and those scattered adenocarcinoma cells expressing mild levels of SV2A.
