MPO and eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis: In the present series, since all six patients with EGPA (including a patient with ongoing treatment with cyclophosphamide) tested negative for MPO-ANCA and that none had signs of active vasculitic manifestations (either at VT onset or at vascular relapse) suggests that VT could be the consequence of eosinophil toxicity rather than active vasculitis.
