Almost all of the current hormonal therapies for prostate cancer target the AR signaling pathway, including those agents targeting androgen biosynthesis, such as luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonists and antagonists, orchiectomy, ketoconazole and abiraterone, and AR antagonists such as bicalutamide, nilutamide, flutamide, enzalutamide, apalutamide and darolutamide. Here, AR is linked to prostate carcinoma.
