ARID1A and infection: Arid1a, a DNA interacting subunit of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodelling complex, has been shown to regulate hepatocyte plasticity in mouse models carrying liver-specific deletion of Arid1a (by using an Albumin-Cre/Arid1a flx/flx mouse line) or conditional deletion of Arid1a in hepatocytes (mediated by infection with an AAV-Cre in Arid1a flx/flx mice) (Sun et al., 2016; Li et al., 2019).
