The presence of intra-amniotic infection was associated with elevated FcgammaBP concentrations in pregnancies with PPROM and PTL [PPROM—presence: 86 ng/mL vs. absence: 13 ng/mL, p < 0.0001, area under receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) = 0.94; PTL—presence: 140 ng/mL vs. absence: 22 ng/mL, p < 0.0001, AUC = 0.86]. Here, FCGBP is linked to preterm premature rupture of the membranes.
