In previous studies, our team found that Dau could regulate the Nrf2/Keap1 pathway to ameliorate the oxidative stress induced by Cu2+ ions or paraquat, and could also alleviate endoplasmic reticulum stress injury in a nematode model of AD by activating the IRE-1/XBP-1 and PERK/EIF2 pathways. The gene discussed is KEAP1; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
