BRD2 and polycystic ovary syndrome: Liu et al. randomized 120 cases of PCOS-HA women to the CHF group and control group; after 3 months treatment, the results showed significant reduction in T, free androgen index (FAI), dihydrotestosterone (DHT), and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) levels and increased the level of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) and FSH in the CHF group than in the control group (P < 0.01); and CHF had better effects for modifying Rosenfield and hirsutism (P < 0.01), promoting recovery of menstrual and spontaneous ovulation (P < 0.05) [50].
