Pericytes enzymatically dissociated from muscles were stained with anti-CD45, CD146, and CD31 antibodies, and then CD45−CD146+CD31− cells were isolated by FACS on days 0, 2, 4, or 7 postischemia to assess the transcriptional regulation in muscle pericytes during the early phases of ischemia (Supplementary Figure 2).
