Notably, each of the 4 common genes had several eSNPs, which were significantly associated with CAD and regulated the expression level of the specific gene simultaneously (Fig. 3b and Supplemental Table S15); for example, a trans-eSNP of rs84314 was significantly associated with the expression of CHCHD1 gene (P = 7.09 × 10−6) and CAD risk (P = .0082).
