Furthermore, expression of Shc3 was associated with maximal tumor size (χ2 = 5.471, P = 0.018), microvascular invasion (χ2 = 7.799, P = 0.005), malignant differentiation (χ2 = 6.981, P = 0.008), TNM stage (χ2 = 7.472, P = 0.005; Table 1), and Kaplan–Meier analysis showed that HCC patients with high Shc3 levels displayed shorter overall survival (χ2 = 6.847, P = 0.009; Fig. 1F). This evidence concerns the gene SHC3 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
