Pearson correlation analysis found that EAT thickness was positively correlated with CRP, IL-6, visfatin, and JAZF1 (P < 0.001), and baPWV was positively correlated with EAT thickness, CRP, IL-6, visfatin, and JAZF1 (P < 0.001), suggesting that in T2DM macroangiopathy patients, EAT thickness is closely related to inflammation and lipid metabolism. The gene discussed is JAZF1; the disease is type 2 diabetes mellitus.
