Indeed, reports from our lab demonstrated that xenografting of the ovarian cancer cell line A2780 results in a similar increase in several NF-κB-dependent proinflammatory cytokines and circulating levels of Ang-II (Kelm et al., 2020; Straughn and Kakar, 2019), perhaps indicating the mechanism through which satellite cells are dysregulated in response to ovarian cancer.
