CDH2 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma: Knocking down METTL7B can significantly reduce ccRCC cell proliferation both in vivo and in vitro. The oncogenic role of METTL7B is achieved by inhibiting the expression of genes involved in the regulation of cell-cycle (such as CDK1, CCND1, and CCNB1) and invasion (E-cadherin, N-cadherin, Vimentin, and Slug).
