In terms of bispecific antibodies (bsAbs), the following bsAbs targeting both CD123 and CD3 (CD123 x CD3 bsAb) with promising efficacy are currently being assessed in early phase clinical trials of R/R AML patients, and their combination with HMAs has yet to be investigated: i) Flotetuzumab (MGD006 or S80880) is a bispecific dual-affinity re-targeting antibody (DART) that recognizes CD123 and CD3ε where it redirects T cells to destroy CD123-expressing cells. This evidence concerns the gene IL3RA and acute myeloid leukemia.
