IL1B and Alzheimer disease: Dendritic cells showed increased levels of the acute-phase cytokines IL1A, IL1B, and TNF, in line with more Th1 (and less Th2) skewing of spontaneously healed AD (44, 45), and increases in CD207 and EPCAM, suggestive of a shift toward higher proportions of Langerhans cells (46) (Figure 4D).
