CTLA4 and peeling skin syndrome: The frequencies of T allele of rs733618, A allele of rs231775, and A allele of rs3087243 in CTLA-4 were significantly higher in CMV-IgG (+) PSS patients than in CMV-IgG (+) controls, although these associations did not survive the correction for multiple testings (71.0 vs. 55.6%, p = 0.021, Pc = 0.21, OR=1.96; 46.0 vs. 29.6%, p = 0.015, Pc = 0.075, OR=2.02; 32.0 vs. 19.4%, p = 0.038, Pc = 0.13, OR=1.95, respectively; Table 5).
