When we investigated the ability of the markers to diagnose TB disease using ROC curve analysis, the areas under the ROC curve (AUC) were between 0.70 to 0.86 for 12 out of the 20 investigated analytes, namely; ApoCIII, BNDF, I-309, CRP, IP-10, MIG, ferritin, fibrinogen, IFN-γ, SAA, SAP, and TNF-α (Figures 2 and 3). The gene discussed is CXCL9; the disease is tuberculosis.
