Compared with the expression in CD8+ T cells from naïve tumor-free wild-type mice, bortezomib administration in tumor-bearing mice increased CD8+ T cell miR-155 expression concomitant with a decreased expression of downstream immunosuppressive targets, namely, the suppressor of cytokine signaling 1 (SOCS1) and the SH-2 containing inositol 5’-polyphosphatase 1 (SHIP1), inhibitors of JAK/STAT and PI3K/AKT signaling in T cells, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene SOAT1 and neoplasm.
