In HF models induced by isoprenaline (ISO) (Harrison and Cai, 2003) or angiotensin II (Ang II), the expression levels of inflammatory cytokines were significantly increased as a result of NF-κB pathway activation, while overexpression of CYP2J2 reduced the levels of inflammatory cytokines and improved cardiac function (Yang et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene CYP2J2 and hydrops fetalis.
