Moreover, the elevated level of SOX10 mRNA found in NB-TU 50 could be ascribed to a high proportion of infiltrating stroma containing S100B and SOX10 positive SCs (Fig. 1k, Supplementary Fig. 2c), while the sections analyzed from other NB tumors such as NB-TU 49 lacked S100B and SOX10 positive cells and mRNA (Fig. 1l, Supplementary Fig. 2d). The gene discussed is SOX10; the disease is neuroblastoma.
