CXCR4 and prostate neoplasm: Matrix metalloproteinase 10 promotes angiogenesis, growth, and diffusion of human hepatocellular carcinomas by regulating the CXCL12/CXCR4 axis, and the phosphatase and tensin homolog can negatively regulate the expression of CXCL12/CXCR4 in prostate tumors, thereby controlling tumor growth56–58.
