In pancreatic cancer, circ-PDE8A was demonstrated to stimulate cell growth by functioning as a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) to absorb miR-338 and regulate the miR-338/MACC1/MET pathway, whereas circFOXK2 was found to be involved in the cell cycle and proliferation by interacting with RBPs and sponging miR-942 to promote cancer progression49,50. This evidence concerns the gene PDE8A and pancreatic neoplasm.
