The nine key genes are composed of ANLN, BIRC5, BUB1B, CDC20, CDCA5, CDK1, NCAPG, NEK2, and TOP2A. They have been shown to be oncogenes, mainly enriched in cell division and cell cycle pathways, and capable of influencing HCC progression and prognosis. This evidence concerns the gene NCAPG and hepatocellular carcinoma.
