Similarly, SPARC concentration in class 4, rather than class 5, was associated with an increased likelihood of pSS compared to SLE (OR = 0.035 and 95% CI [0.002–0.66]; p = 0.0253), while at lower concentrations (in classes 0, 1, 2, or 3) there were no significant differences between the two AIDs. Here, SPARC is linked to systemic lupus erythematosus.
